Two Decades of Women’s Excellence Spotlighted at 2025 Women Leaders in Consulting Awards

New York awards gala and thought leadership programming marks 20 years of honoring women reshaping the consulting industry.

Consulting Magazine proudly marked the 20th anniversary of the Women Leaders in Consulting awards with a sold‑out gala at The Pierre, A Taj Hotel in New York City. This year, 55 individual honorees and four firms were recognized for their extraordinary contributions to the profession, continuing a tradition that began in 2000 and has grown into one of the industry’s most anticipated annual celebrations.

Individual honorees were celebrated across eight categories:

  • Excellence in Client Service
  • Excellence in Leadership
  • Excellence in Strategy & Operations
  • Technology Trailblazer
  • DEI Champion
  • Mentor of the Year
  • Future Leaders
  • Lifetime Achievement

Firm honorees were recognized for program categories:

  • Mentoring and Enrichment
  • Women’s Retention

The evening underscored two decades of progress in recognizing and elevating women’s voices in consulting, building on the momentum of the previous decades and expanding recognition to include firm‑level achievements in retention and advancement.

Michael A. Webb, Director of Consulting Magazine, reflected on the milestone event, “For twenty years, these awards have recognized those women who are reshaping consulting. These honorees remind us that leadership, innovation, and inclusion are not just aspirations—they are the foundation of our profession’s future.”2025 Lifetime Achievement honorees Adriana Berrocal with Deloitte, and Mary Gates, GMR Security Consulting Group, accepting their honors at the awards gala.

Prior to the award dinner and festivities, Consulting Magazine hosted the Women Leaders Professional Series thought leadership program, convening under the theme Leading Boldly: Women Redefining the Future of Consulting. The faculty included Karen Werger, Vice Chair, Deloitte Canada; Rebekah Gardner, Chief Growth Officer, Wipfli Advisory LLC; and 2025 Women Leaders honoree, Liz Fritz, Founder & Chief Brand Evangelist, F2 Strategy.Program panelists Liz Fritz of F2 Strategy; Rebekah Gardner of Wipfli Advisory and Karen Werger of Deloitte engaging in dialogue with the audience.

These industry luminaries presented on women’s leadership topics followed by a moderated discussion exploring how women leaders are guiding innovation responsibly; leading work‑life integration and mental health, rethinking balance and sustaining performance; and visibility, influence, and trust while navigating leadership challenges with authenticity and credibility.

The 2025 program and gala serve as both a celebration and a call to action, inspiring consultants to lead boldly, embrace integrated intelligence, and continue building a more inclusive industry.

Webb added, “This program reminds us that the future of consulting will be shaped by those willing to lead with courage and conviction, and by those who elevate others along the way. It is our responsibility to build a profession where innovation and inclusion go hand in hand.”
